The Experience

At Little Man, we strive to bring you the best ice cream experience in town. Our ice cream is hand-made with some of the finest, local ingredients and in small batches to ensure quality. Our service far exceeds that of a typical ice cream shop with vintage uniforms, big smiles and an “anything goes” attitude. Grab a Lactaid for 50¢ and enjoy a single, double, or triple dip! We also specialize in fountain sodas, floats, malts, shakes, banana splits and sundaes.

All business exists to make a difference. At Little Man, we endeavor to make a difference in our community, to our employees, and in the broader global community.

Local Community

In the summertime, Little Man has quickly become one of the “town squares” of Highland. It’s a place for friends, family, and neighbors to connect!

Little Man has supported and donated to Highland United Neighbors, Inc. (H.U.N.I), the Catholic Worker House, Brown Elementary, Sandoval Elementary, Riverfront Park Fashion Show, and numerous other organizations and events. We have funded several of our own neighborhood events such as a Fourth of July parade, a Pumpkin Carving Contest, a Poetry Slam, and Live Local Music.

Our Employees

We offer our employees competitive wages, flexible hours, good management, and a safe work environment. We also have begun working with YouthBiz, an organization that trains youth to “have the character and skills needed to become productive, responsible, and fulfilled community members.”

Global Community

From day one, one of the driving factors behind Little Man has been a program called Scoop for Scoop. We have made a commitment to share one scoop of rice for every scoop of ice cream sold. In just six months of sales in 2008, Little Man was able to hand deliver over 5,000 pounds of rice to villages in Ethiopia and Myanmar. Making a difference has never been so easy or tasted so good!
